MESSAGE FROM THE MINISTER   There is an element of excitement in the air among those of the church here in Atlanta, Texas!  This congregation has come a long way, spiritually and numerically, since its first meeting in the home of A. E. Kendrick in 1937; we do not intend to stop now! With the help and support of the entire staff and congregation, Pam and I are looking forward with great anticipation to building upon the foundation laid by such good brethren.  We count it a privilege to be working with you. What tremendous potential and opportunity we have!  As long as we keep Christ as our focus and the Word of God as our guide, many great things will happen here.  I believe the future of the Lord's church is bright.  I believe the future of this congregation here in Atlanta is bright.  Invite your friends and neighbors to come be a part of us as, together, we "press toward the mark" (Philippians 3:14).                                                                                                       Joey Davis
