Nursing Home Visitation

"I was sick and you visited me"--Jesus

A major part of the ministry of Jesus was visiting and healing those who were destitute and sick (Lk. 9:6). He was a Savior who was well acquainted with grief (Isa. 53:3). Sometimes, those that are the most neglected in our communities are the sick and elderly. Yet, part of being a follower of Jesus is visiting those that are often neglected (Jam. 1:27).

Because of this, the church in Atlanta takes the time, once a month, to visit with our nursing/assisted living homes in the community. We take this time to sing, pray, teach, and visit with the residents. It's such a blessing to see the smiling faces and hear the warm words of these sweet people.

We are always ready and willing to have any and all help us in this endeavor! We hope that in some small way that we can show the love of Jesus through this ministry.
